Republican Sinn Féin is the oldest political organisation in Ireland and holds a line of unbroken continuity with the Sinn Féin organisation founded in 1905. We have stood by the original constitution of Sinn Féin and do so to this very day. Our aim is the complete withdrawal of the British forces of occupation from our country and the establishment of the 32 county socialist Republic. We are the only organisation that pledges our allegiance to the sovereign Irish Republic proclaimed in arms at Easter 1916, endorsed by the people of all Ireland in 1918 and effectively established by the first Dàil Èireann in 1919-21.
